Obituaries are $100 for the first 100 words, with each additional word priced at $0.83 per word. A complimentary photo is included with every obituary. For the best print quality, please submit the clearest, highest-resolution photo you have. Portrait-oriented photos work best.
Publication Deadline: To appear in the Saturday print edition of the Hood County News, obituaries must be submitted by Tuesday. Anything submitted after Tuesday’s deadline will appear in the following week’s edition.
